How to optimise your schedule

A Just Eat driver delivering

You can submit your availability every week in the courier app. You need to submit your availability in the app every Wednesday evening. If you don’t, you may not be able to deliver. If you operate in a ‘hybrid’ zone, you also have the option to check for open runs or choose the option to start now.

There are two ways to get on the road and start making money.

  1. Setting your availability– set your availability every week in the Courier App by midnight on Wednesdays to be eligible for the next week’s schedule,be sure to only choose times that you want to deliver. Weekly courier schedules are released every Thursday. See the step by step guide below for more info.
  2. Open runs mean you don’t have to wait for a schedule to be released you can start earning straight away. Simply open your courier app, head to scheduling, open runs and select the times that work for you.

For more information on how scheduling works click here.

Here’s a handy video on scheduling.

Step by Step Guide to Scheduling in the Just Eat Courier App.

Step 1

Head to scheduling at the bottom of your
Just Eat Courier app and then select availability
at the top.
Step 2

Now you can add your availability day by day
based on when works best for your schedule.
Simply add your start and end time and
click submit.

Schedules are released on Thursdays so make sure
you do this by Wednesday evening.
Step 3

Want to start now? You can jump on an
open run. Head to scheduling and
select open runs at the top. Here
you’ll see all the available slots.

Click on the green + and it will be
added to your schedule.
Step 4

You can view your schedule in Scheduling
– My Schedule. If for any reason you can no
longer make a shift simply open this up
and click on the bin icon on the top right.

Select Drop run to remove this from
your schedule.
