We always want couriers to feel safe when completing a run. Whether you prefer to deliver in a car, on a bike or on a scooter – it’s important that you’re up to speed with our insurance policy should any accidents happen. 

Let’s take a top-line look at our policy;

🚗 What’s covered? 

Cover is applicable in the event of death or serious injury following an accident and a range of other covers including dental injuries, and a hospital stay as a result of an accident

🌎 Where am I covered?

Whilst on a delivery run on the Just Eat platform, anywhere in the UK. The available shift must be allocated to you and you have to be checked into the Courier App

What do I have to do?

  1. You must have completed the onboarding process and entered into a service agreement with Just Eat.
  2. You must comply with the terms and conditions of the service agreement and be under the maximum age limits stated in the policy.
  3. You must supply, at your own expense, any certificates, information and evidence we reasonably require including medical certificates and other documents, following injury.
  4. After an injury, you should obtain and follow the advice of a doctor.
  5. In the event of a claim, you must notify the insurance provider as soon as practicable in the event of a claim. You must agree to a medical examination if the insurance asks for it, they will cover the costs.

*Remember you must always have hire and reward insurance if you’re delivering in a car or motorbike. The above policy is in reference to personal accident insurance, not public liability insurance.
