Customer chat feature

To allow for easier and smoother deliveries, you can now chat to customers using our live chat feature on the courier app. This will be useful if you need to get in touch with the customer to confirm delivery details, locate their address or if any other issues arise with the order.

How does it work?

  1. When delivering your order, you’ll see a chat icon beside the customers details

2. Simply click on that icon to be taken to a live chat window where you can connect with the customer

3. You will also be able to view your chats in the Help Centre section of the app. Simply navigate there, and click ‘Message Centre’ to view your previous customer chats

*Please note, inappropriate use of the customer chat may result in removal from the network This includes using the chat function when operating a vehicle, as well as using offensive language. Please do not use the chat for anything other than helping you to complete the delivery. When using the chat, make sure to communicate any relevant updates or issues, and be polite and courteous to the customer. The feature can also only be viewed on your Courier App if the customer you are delivering to has the feature enabled on their end.
