Stay safe!
As temperatures start to drop, we want to make sure you’re staying safe on the road. Whether you drive a car, bike or scooter, it’s super important to prepare for any road related challenges over the Winter!
Preparation is key
You know the saying – if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail! To avoid any awkward breakdowns, or dodgy car noises, it’s best to double check that your vehicle is in good working order. Check important bits such as tyres, fluids and brakes so you aren’t left stranded in the snow. Speaking of which, if you’re in a car, it’s always better to make sure you have enough fuel in case of any difficulties. Packing an emergency kit that includes warm clothing, non-perishable food and a torch could also come in handy.
Take it easy
When you’re on the road, hidden black ice could also spell trouble – we know couriers like to deliver speedily, but it’s always best to drive slowly and carefully in bad weather to avoid skidding. As icy roads can make things more difficult, you should keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front so you can brake in plenty of time. We know the days get dark quickly, but no matter the time of day, stay alert and observant on your run.
Do your research
