Here’s how to make deliveries from grocery partners as smoothly as possible
Picking up an order from a Grocery Partner is a little different from picking up an order from a restaurant. You may find that there are more items to check and that delivery bags may be bulkier or heavier.
We have recently added even more Grocery Partners to the Just Eat Network. We now deliver from Iceland, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Budgens, Londis, Premier, Nisa, Shop n Drive, MFG (Fuel Stations) as well as many other smaller independent supermarket stores.
So please bear the following points in mind when you’re picking up a grocery order for delivery.
- If the order is too large or heavy to be made in one delivery please contact Courier Support to get assistance.
- Please be sure to check that you have the whole order before leaving the store. Grocery orders often contain a larger number of items and a common complaint from customers is that items are missed off.
- If you are happy to deliver alcohol, that’s great. But do remember to follow the Challenge 100 policy and ensure that the recipient is not underage and that they are not intoxicated.
- Your hot food bag should be taken into the store and grocery bags put straight into it so that the food arrives with the customer just as it left the store.
- Check if there is a specific area at the store for courier pick-ups that allows you to stay out of the way of other customers. Some stores have them, but some don’t, but if they do provide this space please be sure to use it.
- Large grocery stores sometimes take a little longer to organise their orders so please be patient if they’re not ready immediately when you arrive to pick up the order.
Thanks in advance for your help in making grocery deliveries a great experience for our partners and customers.
