There may be times when you need to contact a customer. For example, a customer may have put in an incorrect address, or they may not be answering their door.
- Look at the customer’s Orderpad receipt
- At the bottom of the receipt, you will see a contact number* to call the customer on
- Dial the number
- A voice prompt will ask for the verification code
- Enter the verification code at the bottom of the Orderpad receipt and press the # key
- Your call will be forwarded to the customer
- After several hours after the original order delivery time, codes will no longer function
If a customer calls back, the incoming caller ID will be a Just Eat owned phone number as well, not the customer’s number.
*These “proxy numbers” are not unique for orders, couriers or partners. Just Eat has a range of contact numbers that are assigned as required and available. Once a code is no longer valid, parties can no longer call each other through those proxy contact numbers.
