How to contact a customer

There may be times when you need to contact a customer. For example, a customer may have put in an incorrect address, or they may not be answering their door. 

  1. Look at the customer’s Orderpad receipt
  2. At the bottom of the receipt, you will see a contact number* to call the customer on
  3. Dial the number
  4. A voice prompt will ask for the verification code
  5. Enter the verification code at the bottom of the Orderpad receipt and press the # key
  6. Your call will be forwarded to the customer 
  7. After several hours after the original order delivery time, codes will no longer function

If a customer calls back, the incoming caller ID will be a Just Eat owned phone number as well, not the customer’s number.

*These “proxy numbers” are not unique for orders, couriers or partners. Just Eat has a range of contact numbers that are assigned as required and available. Once a code is no longer valid, parties can no longer call each other through those proxy contact numbers.
