Log in and go… in selected zones

A Just Eat delivery driver checking for an order

As you’ll know, we currently operate a closed network, which means, for the most part, you cannot open the app and start deliveries right away. You must first schedule when you want to deliver in the courier app.

This trial will allow couriers in selected areas to log in at any time to pick up runs – giving you more chances to earn on the Just Eat network.

Why are you trialling this?
We’re testing new features to make our network better. Specifically, we’re focusing on adjusting settings and open runs. This trial helps us gather insights, find ways to improve, and give you more flexibility in how you work.

Which zones are in the trial?

  • Doncaster
  • Harlow
  • Margate
  • Barnsley
  • Cortonwood

Do I still need to set my availability each week?
No, it’s not necessary if you prefer not to. This trial enables couriers in specific areas to log in at their convenience, providing the flexibility to pick up open runs whenever they choose.

When does the trial start?
This trial will start on 8th Jan 2024

Will I get paid differently?
While participating in this trial, there won’t be any changes to the payment dates. Rest assured that you will continue to receive your compensation on the scheduled payment dates, as usual.

We hope that you find this new feature helpful in giving you more opportunities to work when you want to work, and we’ll share the results of the trial with you soon.
