What is RRDP?
The UK government announced that it will execute its own version of RRDP. This will commence for all new couriers joining the Just Eat network from 1 January 2024, meaning that on 31 January 2025, we will report information around the earnings of all couriers who are new to the network in 2024.
Any couriers who were active on the Just Eat network before 2024 will be reported the following year, due on 31 January 2026.
For further information on what you will need to provide to us and what we will share with tax authorities, please visit the “data requirements” section further down this page.
Why do I have to provide this information?
The UK government has introduced this new legislation to improve visibility of transactions that occur on digital networks, including Just Eat Takeaway.com.
How are couriers impacted?
We are legally required to provide network user tax data, plus revenue, to UK tax authorities. We will endeavour to ensure this process is simple and straightforward for all of our couriers, whether new to the network since 1 January 2024, or operating on the network prior to this
If you have not previously submitted your tax information to Just Eat please use the Reporting Rules for Digital Platforms (RRDP) Information form in the documents section of the courier portal.
How often will Just Eat report this information?
Since 1 January 2024, this new legislation requires Just Eat to report courier earnings on an annual rolling basis, for all couriers active on the network during the year in question. This applies whether you are listed as an individual or a business entity.
If any of your personal details contained in the table further down this page change, you should notify us immediately, to ensure you remain compliant with the new legislation.
Who will report this information to the authorities?
Just Eat is responsible for collecting the required information to share directly with the relevant tax authority on an annual basis.
We are also legally required to provide our couriers access to the same report of information that is shared with said authorities. We will provide information soon on how this will be accessible to couriers.
What will you do with my data and how long will it be stored?
The data you provide to Just Eat will be treated with absolute confidentiality and only used in order to ensure Just Eat remains compliant with tax, legal and audit requirements.
Your data will be kept for as long as needed to remain compliant with reporting obligations. To find out more about how we store personal data please read our Privacy Notice.
